Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to present at DevReach 2013, a premier developer conference in Central and Eastern Europe. It was held in Sofia, Bulgaria on October 1, 2013. DevReach is known for its commitment to providing valuable insights and knowledge to developers in the region.
As a seasoned presenter, I have had the privilege of speaking in various countries around the world. However, this was my first time presenting in Europe, and I was excited to share my expertise with the audience at DevReach. The event was meticulously organized, and the DevReach organization team left no stone unturned in ensuring a seamless experience for both speakers and attendees.
During my time at DevReach, I had the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Sofia. It was a delightful experience to immerse myself in the local culture and witness the historical landmarks that the city has to offer.
One of the sessions I presented at DevReach was titled “Secrets of SQL Server: Database Worst Practices.” In this session, I highlighted common mistakes made by database professionals and shared insights on how to avoid them. The goal was to shed light on the small details that can have a significant impact on the production environment and the overall performance of SQL Server.
By discussing worst practices and providing practical tips, I aimed to empower attendees to make informed decisions and optimize their SQL Server implementations. Avoiding these pitfalls can not only enhance the efficiency of their databases but also contribute to their professional growth.
I would like to express my gratitude to Team Telerik for organizing such a remarkable event. DevReach 2013 will always hold a special place in my heart as one of the best experiences in my career as a SQL Server evangelist.
